Dr. Minh Nguyen is delighted to be serving the Ann Arbor community. He was born and raised in Lincoln, NE, and completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. Dr. Nguyen received his dental education at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Nguyen has worked closely with pediatric and general dental practitioners across the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex and completed his training for Straight Wire Orthodontics in 2013.

Treating each patient like family, he has a strong vision for a high quality of care with his patient’s best interests at heart. His patients are amazed at his ability to ease their dental fears and enjoy their dental visits. Dr. Nguyen is passionate about dentistry; he is committed to the life-long journey in dentistry. He participates in numerous continuing education courses each year in order to offer the most modern dental treatments for his patients.

When Dr. Nguyen is not practicing dentistry, he enjoys spending time with his newborn son, traveling, golfing, and staying active.

Dr. Safanah studied in the Northeast where she graduated with honors from New Jersey’s Montclair State University, obtaining her Bachelors of Science in Biology and Masters of Science in Biology. Inspired by her grandparents who were doctors and her love for science and art, she embarked on the path to become an oral health care provider. She studied dentistry at New York University where she obtained her Doctorate of Dental Surgery with honors in Aesthetic Dentistry. During her studies at NYU, she received tremendous training in all aspects of dentistry including restorative, prosthetic, and surgery. Furthermore, Dr. Safanah did a general practice residency in Hackensack Meridian Health Mountainside Medical Center where she was further trained to perform complex dental procedures such as implant placements and restorations, and bone remodeling.

Dr. Safanah is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the American Academy of Clear Aligners. She is committed to quality patient care and continuous dental education. She aspires to educate her patients about the importance of oral health and its strong association with our overall well-being.

When Dr. Safanah isn’t at the office, she likes to spend quality time with her husband, play tennis, play the Oud and discover new restaurants.

Dr. Shreea Handa is excited to join Comfort Smiles of Ann Arbor and serve the local community. She has provided comprehensive care to her patients in Toledo, Ohio since 2018, and is finally thrilled to cheer on The Wolverines (farewell to the Buckeyes!!).

Dr. Handa has been a Michigan native, as she has attended the University of Michigan – Dearborn for her undergraduate studies, followed by University of Michigan – Ann Arbor School of Dentistry. Her passion is to provide the most advanced dental care in a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere. She loves making her patients feel at ease in the dental chair!

She is diligent in her pursuit to stay current in providing leading dental care procedures. Dr. Handa’s passion for learning has led her to regularly attend advanced training seminars and continued education courses in all facets of dentistry. She has participated in hands-on implant training to expand her skill set in prosthetic dentistry. Her particular interest in cosmetic dentistry and Invisalign clear aligner therapy has grown over the years. Dr. Handa has attended seminars presented by the top cosmetic and Invisalign dentists in the nation. Her desire to learn helps her provide the care patients need, want, and deserve.

In her spare time, Dr. Handa enjoys staying active outdoors, and promoting a healthy lifestyle! She loves traveling and exploring new destinations around the world with her husband. Her weekends are primarily spent with her family, friends and loved ones
